DJI Mavic 2 Zoom
DJI Mavic 2 Zoom excels as the name states in zooming. The built-in camera uses an optical zoom.
Mavic 2 Zoom differs from its sibling Mavic 2 Pro in many respects. Zoom employs a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with a range that spans from 24 mm to 48 mm. The aperture ranges from f/2.8 to f/11. The number of EV points are also different.

DJI Mavic 2 Zoom
DJI's Mavic range are like the premium compact cameras of its drone line-up, sitting inbetween the more point-and-shoot Spark and pro-friendly Phantoms. Powerful but small due to their foldable designs, the Mavic fleet recently gained two new flagships that sit above the Mavic Air – there's the...- Great image quality with unusual zoom

DJI Mavic 2 Zoom MAVIC2-ZOOM review
There's a very good reason why DJI is the market leader of drones: its combination of high-tech features, flight modes and video/image qualit is an unbeatable combination. With the Mavic 2 Pro, that reputation is only enhanced once more.- Stunning footage
- Great still photos
- Obstacle avoidance is brilliant
- Flight modes work really well
- Super smooth flight - even in wind
- It's expensive
- Remote requires phone to be plugged in
- App is still not the most user friendly
- Non-HDR shots can be grainy
DJI Mavic 2 Zoom MAVIC2-ZOOM review
DJI Mavic 2 Zoom
I'd point customers looking at the Zoom to the DJI Mavic Air. When we reviewed the $799 Air we thought that it was worth it to spend a little bit more on the Mavic Pro Platinum, which debuted at a lower price than the Mavic 2 Zoom.- Smooth, sharp 4K video
- 2x optical zoom lens
- Excellent battery life
- Compact, folding design
- Obstacle detection system
- High-resolution stitched image mode
- Raw and HDR photos
- Could use more internal memory
- Omits DCI aspect ratio
- Pricey
DJI Mavic 2 Zoom Review
The DJI Mavic 2 Zoom sets itself apart from other drones thanks to an optical zoom lens. It's loaded with features, including obstacle avoidance, and is a fine choice for enthusiast pilots. DJI is the first name in drones, largely due to the success of its iconic Phantom series. But the Phantom's rigid design has given way to the more modern, folding Mavic family. The first Mavic Pro made videographers rethink what a small drone can do. It's been joined by other small models, but the Mavic 2 represents DJI's true successor to its flagship compact aircraft. There are two models available—the Mavic 2 Zoom ($1,249), which we're reviewing here, and the Mavic 2 Pro ($1,499), which doesn't zoom, but has a higher-quality camera. The Pro earns our Editors' Choice, but the Zoom is an excellent aircraft in its own right. A Bigger Mavic Tech upgrades are almost always about smaller, slimmer variations on the familiar. But not with the Mavic 2. The aircraft is a bit bigger all around than the first Mavic Pro and the intermediary Mavic Pro Platinum. It measures 3.3 by 3.6 by 8.4 inches (HWD) when its arms are folded in, and 3.3 by 9.5 by 12.7 inches with its arms extended and rea...- Smooth, sharp 4K video

DJI Mavic 2 Zoom MAVIC2-ZOOM review
With DJI Mavic Pro being the best foldable drone (I’ll even dare to say BY FAR) available on the market, a ton of DJI fans are already turning their heads towards the next version.

DJI Mavic 2 Zoom Review
Earlier this month, DJI pulled the curtain back on two new drones : the Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom - arguably two of the most advanced drones the company (or any company for that matter) has ever released.
