Please don't buy this

The worst thing I have ever bought for my computer. Please do not but this. The 3/10 times it stays connected to the Internet it doesn't even work well

I've had this for atleast 3 months now, works fine. I just unplug it when I'm not using it. Everyone who claims they burn out must have never removed them. They have no heatsink, fan or any way to cool themselves so they are obviously going to burn out faster.

Small, convient, Fast; 126.2/mbs in 1800 sq/ft Townhouse - opposite ends.

Runs warm

I have two of these adapters I'm using in the house. I bought the second one because of the reliabilty I've had with the first one. Highly recommended! This review was modfied by poster @ 02-04-16 09:28 AM

Love it!

I bought it on sale, worth every penny!

Easy to install without any issues, it took maybe 15 minutes to install; I have Internet 150 at home, with 2.4G connection I would be lucky if I would get 30-35M on speed test; With this adapter on 5G connection I am consistently getting 150-155M

None so far

D-Link DWA-171 Dual Band AC600 Mini USB Wireless Adapter (Support Win10 & Mac OS with the latest driver)

Stop looking. This is the one you want. Price is great. Works perfectly, discrete design. You won't find one better for what you pay.

D-Link AC600 Dual Band Wi-Fi Network Adapter - Black (DWA-171)

Working great so far even through a concrete block wall. Using with a dual-frequency router. Install routine needs some work, but got it working with the help of their tech support.

Got my network working

After some remote access help from a friend on my laptop, he suggested after upgrading to Windows 10 my internet adaptor was not recognised or working. He advised me to get a d-link. All working now.

Very small and easy to use piece of kit. Get excellent speeds on Windows 7 but don't bother on Windows 8 only get half the speed, not the adapters fault, Windows 8 drivers are rubbish. Otherwise excellent.
