Terrible Modem, Please don't purchase
I bought this modem with intentions to improve my Optus network at home by giving my apartment greater coverage and overall performance. This d-link modem certainly didn't meet these expectations. After completing the initial setup, I couldn't get a stable internet connection, in fact no internet connection at all. I called up tech support who for two hours straight on the phone, struggled but eventually helped me fix the issue. Even once the internet was connected using this new d-link modem, my internet speed was slowed right down from 50mbs to around 10mbs. The following day, the internet wouldn't connect at all and so I had no choice but to go back to the old standard Optus modem, which actually performed better than the d-link modem.
So in summary, please don't purchase this product. Increase your budget by about $50 and you'll walk out of JB Hi-FI with a much better product.
