The problem is with Android, not the camera

Camera is very easy to setup, no brainer.. but must b connected wired first before it can be wireless. Once it goes online, u pretty much can view it from your web browser or via mobile app (iOS). Yes, it lacks of features but that's what u get for chepo one.

cheap; easy to configure; easy to use via browser or app

low res; lack of features; no night vision

You get what you pay for

I even attempted to upgrade the firmware to 1.06, and there was no improvement in operation. If you set up in third party software, make sure to set it up to MJPEG stream at path /video.cgi Other paths /image.jpg and /audio.cgi appear to work, but no idea what codec used for audio stream.

Don't buy this.

Picked it up today and tried setting it up. Seemed simple enough. Plug in, run wizard, PRESTO. Didn't do that. For whatever reason, plugging the ethernet cable into my network router cut off my internet two or three times, and there was no way the device/wizard would connect to the DLink system, so...

Not a bad camera and it certainly works NOW. It did take almost six months from the time of purchase before it was even usable, due to wonky drivers and a horrible system to initially set it up. The app for remote access is simply so-so also due to it not running off the SD card. You can access...

Great Network camera with easy setup for the LAN, but I have tried at least 6 times to get my Verizon router to let the video go out to the WWW, with no luck. Port Forwarding is VERY difficult and confusing on Verizon FIOS.

Most useful product ever

I normally don't leave product reviews, but my wife and I have been so happy with this product that I felt it necessary to post a review, plus I noticed that another customer left a nasty product review. We have been using this camera for over 6 months; checking in on a daily basis.

Easy to Use; Clarity; Design; price; utility

DCS-930L Wireless N Network Camera

After we reviewed the DropCam Echo a few weeks back and found ourselves generally unimpressed, we received an e-mail from someone at D-Link saying something to the effect of: "Dude, you have to try out our thing, because our thing is totally better than their thing and costs a heck of a lot less

Wireless connectivity; Easy setup; Relatively low cost

Poor image quality; Software is unintuitive; Seizure-inducing blinkenlight

D-LINK DCS-930L mydlink Wireless-N Network Camera

Mains plug contained an adapter for UK 13 amp socket connection. This could be a problem if you don't have much room beneath the socket. Minimum 45mm required beneath socket.

As expected

13 amp adapter included but.

D-Link Wireless N Home Camera DCS-930L review

While some webcams offer basic motion detection, they need to be plugged into your PC, which must be kept switched on when you're out. This surveillance might reassure you, but the resulting electricity bills won't.

Excellent network camera

Easy to setup and use and monitor remotely. upnp plug and play compatible and no wireless network drops which makes it a very stable product to use.

Easy to setup, works on n network; you can monitor from outside the network and works on ipad and android phones too

very bad in low light or has absolutely no night vision
