My first case was defective out of the box, the front fan grill/panel's mounting points are made of thin, weak plastic that after some use have the potential to break. I bought the case for the looks (mostly) which doesn't disappoint.

I wanted to give this case five stars and for the most part it has earned it. I only have one complaint, The front panel wires are too short! In order to reach my Motherboard (MSI Krait Gaming) I had to stretch them way too tight. Even after rerouting them I was worried I may break a wire.

I have no complaints about this case. It is solid and has great fit and finish. I have not had an issue with the front grille, knock on wood. It has a reputation for breaking the latch hooks. As such, I don't take it off often and when I do, I am gentle. The features of this case are great.

As a case manufacturer, Corsair's quest is now complete. Just recently it filled out its product stack with a mini-ITX model, the ) all of which fall under its Obsidian brand. However, while technically complete that doesn't mean there's isn't room for a few more additions.

The Corsair 450D is the smallest of the Obsidian family, but it offers the same cool and clean look and a potent feature set at a price tag of 120 USD - which is 20 dollars less than the 550D, but 20 dollars more than the 350D. Is there enough room for the 450D to fill such a gap?

The Obsidian 450D completes the lineup really, it is not a chassis that is groundbreaking in new features. Contrary, it is more of the same yet in a different form-factor. From A to Z though the Obsidian 450D is a chassis within a well thought through concept.

Would be awesome if quality was slightly higher. Some parts are falling off and I had to glue them myself. HDD tray is really bad. Fan filters are very easy to take off and clean.

I bought this case with 2x120mm SP120 Corsair fans for the bottom, 2x140mm ML140 Corsair fans for the front and an NZXT Sentry 3 fan controller. I already own a Corsair 240mm AIO watercooler so I have a total of 7 fans, including the rear exhaust. This case fits them all.

I also have a 250D from Corsair. The obsidian line takes are definitely the best cases I've come by. Corsair also has rock solid customer service for anything that goes wrong. Just log in and submit a ticket - chances are your new part will be shipped the next day!
