Manufacturer: Corsair
This mini gaming keyboard is a fantastic effort from Corsair with plenty of things to love about it. We question the lack of optical-mechanical switches considering the price but otherwise it's a fantastic bit of kit.
Impressive RGB lighting; Insane specs and customisation options; Standard bottom row layout allows for customisation;
Lacks optical keyswitch options;
60% is a niche thing but lets me make the most of limited desk space. Led lights fully compatible with CORSAIR iCue which is handy if you are already in that ecosystem. I was worried at first that leds on white might make the keyboard difficult to see but it actually looks great and blends with my all white build. Takes some getting used to but not really missing the rest of the keyboard; CHERRY MX Speed Silver keys are like butter. Highly recommended.
Although i like this keyboard due to its fantastic rgb aswell as cherry speed silvers one of the downsides is the hollow case, this causes the keys to make a pinging noise when fully pressed as the inside of the case is empty, though this can be fixed by adding foa
Love the keyboard and the best keyboard I have ever own
one of the keys is very slow when the rgb lights are on.
Works very nicely, and is perfect for gaming. It makes a nice clicky noise.
I got this keyboard as it had stated that it has RED cherry mx switches, it does not they are the silver speed ones. I've read reviews about how you cannot move left to right easily...it is a 60% keyboard if you want to do that you're better off getting a 65-80% keyboard. You CAN use the arrow keys you just have to hold down the FN button. This keyboard is growing on me however I wish the details about the keyboard were correct with what type of switches it is.
It’s Okay. It works but the space bar sometimes doesn’t respond. There’s also no option to go left or right while typing which over time becomes frustrating. Otherwise the size is comfortable.
Corsair’s getting in on the 60 percent keyboard gold rush. The $109 K65 RGB Mini, a pint-size refresh of the company's K65 TKL design, removes everything but the essentials to create a minimalist mechanical keyboard that's compact and portable. In a superficial sense, the K65 is a highly successful 60 percent adaptation. The keyboard is small, but the layout doesn’t feel compressed as compact designs sometimes do. At the same time, with a wave of 60 and 65 percent keyboards launching from major manufacturers this year, there’s no feature or component that makes the K65 Mini particularly noteworthy. It’s a solid, but ultimately bland choice in a keyboard category that’s heating up. Fewer Keys, More Room to Breathe First of all, we should point out that the K65 Mini is a 60 percent keyboard. It has 61 keys, which is actually just under 60 percent of a 104-key, full-size layout. To reach that point, the K65 removes the number pad, function row, editing keys, and navigation keys. I...
With the K65 RGB Mini, Corsair successfully shrinks its basic mechanical keyboard design down to 60 percent comfortably, but otherwise, it's a bit bland.
Compact, 60-percent design feels natural; Detachable USB-C cable; Cool fractal design on spacebar; Lets you create up to 50 onboard keyboard profiles
Lacks strong differentiating features; 8000Hz polling isn’t particularly helpful
