Corsair K100 Review

The Corsair K100 wired gaming keyboard is tremendously designed and packed with features, with laser-powered switches delivering incredible speed and quality. But it's expensive and overkill for all but the most demanding of gamers.

Brilliant opto-mechanical switches; Packed with features; Sturdy design and great RGB LED lighting;

Expensive; Some flimsy buttons; No USB 3.0;

Corsair K100 RGB Gaming Keyboard Review

It’s hard to improve upon perfection. Corsair’s trying, though. The $229 Corsair K100 RGB, successor to the beloved K95 RGB Platinum, adds a fresh coat of paint, new proprietary opto-mechanical switches, a customizable control dial, even more RGBs, and a swanky new wrist rest. Despite changing so many things, the K100 still carries the K95's excellent core design. That said, many of its new features offer only qualified improvements. If you want the kitchen sink of gaming keyboards, the K100 is now the most customizable, feature-rich keyboard on the market. More doesn’t necessarily mean better, though, and most people will not get their money’s worth from its pricey, extremely user-specific upgrades. Higher Than High-End Like the K95 RGB Platinum before it, the K100 RGB is a sprawling control panel of a keyboard, flush with all the quality-of-life features a PC gamer would want. It spreads over 1.44 by 18.44 by 6.5 inches (HWD) or, better yet, 1.44 by 18.44 by 9.44 inches when you...

Corsair’s legendary flagship keyboard is back with a new look and more features than ever, but the price and changes aren’t for everyone.

Extra macro buttons, with Stream Deck support; Useful iCue control wheel; Comfortable wrist rest; USB Passthrough

Stream Deck support limited to extra Macro keys; Corsair OPX Optical Switches are an acquired taste; Very expensive

Best Keyboard in the world

The K100 is the best keyboard i have ever used and i will never need to buy a new one. although this is true there are still problems such as how dusty it gets. The iCUE wheel’s macro recording function is useless. I just can’t figure it out. Another problem is that the iCUE wheel doesn’t have the nicest feel as the aluminium on aluminium is not nice. The iCUE software is also a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it it makes the keyboard 100 times better. I expect a little more from a keyboard of this price.

one of the best keyboards out there

this is probably the best keyboard I've used so far and wont be needing an upgrade any time soon. the only problem i have with it is when i try to slide it left to right the feet retract because they stand out horizontally. other than that the keyboard is great

Brilliant keyboard

Best quality keyboard I’ve owned, metal chassis, plenty of bindable keys, wrist wrest is comfortable, and the RGBs are brilliant

Excellent Keyboard

The k100 has easily become my favourite keyboard, its easy to use, the wrist rest is high quality and the feel of the OPX switches feel great. The RGB looks great and I love being able to stack the effects.

Corsair K100 Air Wireless review: a great keyboard that’s too expensive

Smaller 60% or tenkeyless gaming keyboards have become popular in recent years, but there will always be room for a full-sized gaming keyboard that gives you every button or key you could ever need. The Corsair K100 Air Wireless is an excellent mechanical keyboard in that vein, boasting superb performance and a slick design. At $280, though, it’s too high of a price to pay, especially when it’s missing some features we’ve come to expect at that price. From a design perspective, the Corsair K100 Air Wireless is an attractive, low-profile keyboard. The keyboard itself is well-made and rigid, with no real discernable flexing despite being really thin. It inspires confidence that it’ll last for thousands of gaming sessions and workdays. Also, despite being a full-sized keyboard, it doesn’t take up more space than it needs to. The K100 Air has all the usual keys you’d expect. The characters themselves are easy to read and are arranged logically. At the top are an array of buttons for contro...

Excellent typing experience; Sleek design; iCUE customization; Connects to multiple devices including game consoles;
