Here a four port Gigabit router and then for those who need more a second ‘switch' that gives you another eight connections. Both these items are the latest high specification offerings from the Cisco's Linksys branding.
This switch is definitely faster my prints sent to printer does not take as long even when the job is large. It was also easy to install.
Original wireless router on the ground floor, with a laptop in a room on the second floor which was only showing two bars and the connection kept dropping. Bought this and put it in a room on the first floor, now the laptop shows five bars (needless to say the connection doesn't drop).
Since everything is online now from video game consoles to TVs and DVD players a 4 port router just isn't enough. This switch works well and allows me to connect everything I need to. It looks great with a simple matte black top and grey bottom with small feet for adequate ventilation.

I bought this and it works exactly the way it says it will. Yes I would recommend this to a friend.
I bought this to replace my old Cisco switch to help eliminate the network bottleneck on my DSL Modem. I am happy to report and my network perform better and I am really happy ..
Plug and play. So simple, no effort involved. Usally this type of product is a struggle. This was simple. Recommended.

Super easy install. No trouble with signal strength. I recommend this unit very highly.
Plugged it in to my Linksys E4200 and was up and working in the time it took me to unbox it, plug in the power and transfer the Ethernet cables from the old router I was using to this. Speed is great and took care of some issues on the network I was having because of multiple routers.
