Linksys E2500 Multiple User N600 WiFi Router
Though far from perfect, the Linksys E2500's ease of use, nice design, and reasonable price make it a very good router for a small home or apartment.
Pros:
- The affordable true-dual-band Linksys E2500 Advanced Dual-Band N router is easy to use
- thanks to the included Cisco Connect software and a well-organized Web interface.
Cons:
- The Linksys E2500's range is short and its 2.4GHz-band performance is subpar
- The included Cisco Connect utility provides limited access to the router's features, doesn't work in sync with the Web interface, and requires a live Internet connection to work

decent router - crappy parental controls
If parental controls are important to you - DONT select this router. Otherwise I've had good luck with it. I do consulting work at home and frequently have a dozen devices online including multiple hi-end streaming IP cameras and its been fine.
Pros:
- easy setup via either their setup app or a web page (which is what I use
- you can set up reservations
Cons:
- parental controls are very limited and what it does have is very buggy
- not quite useless but close

Great performer !!
Hi my experience with the Cisco Linksys E2500 router has been very good and gave no issues in its 2 year tenure in my home. I have been using the cisco router for two years now and its been performing very well. The router is beautiful and so light. Its very slim and made of some high grade plastic.

Cisco Linksys E2500 Advanced Dual-Band Wireless-N Router
The Cisco Linksys E2500 ($99.99, direct) Advanced Dual-Band Wireless-N Router is part of the new lineup of E-Series routers. On paper, the E2500, which replaces Cisco's E2000 ($119, 3 stars), is a step up from the Editor's Choice winning E1200 ($60, 4.5 stars) as the E2500 offers dual-band...
Pros:
- Sustains good signal strength at distance
- 2.4 GHz performance much better than that of the E2000
- Easy setup and management
Cons:
- No Gigabit Ethernet
- Performance at 5 GHz band not as robust as that of the E2000, last year's model
- No bridge or AP mode

Pros:
- Streamlined Exterior
- Ease of Use

I would return this, but...
This item was not nearly as good as I was led to believe. The range isn't quite so good, to have access to the better part of the router, I had to buy an extra piece of equipment. I wish I was informed of this before I opened and registered the product.
Pros:
- Easy to Use
- Design
Cons:
- Features
- range isn't so good

Tired of resetting...
I loved this router until i had to start routinely resetting it every 12 hours. After more than one embarrassing phone call to my ISP, turns out my router just decides to stop working when ever the hell it feels like it. Total bummer.

Had some trouble
The first router failed within two weeks and was replaced. I had problems with the communication between my lap top to the router to the printer. Our ISP left us out the cold to solve the problem on our own. The communication problem would recur every time my computer was shut down.

Good for Basic Users
This is a nice basic router but the parental controls are so restrictive. I cannot modify the times for access beyond what Cisco expected people to want them set to.
Pros:
- Parental Controls
Cons:
- Parental Controls

poor range
I upgraded to this router after I had compatibility issues between my wrt54gs2 router and my wireless security cameras. The compatibility issues were solved but this router has very poor range so I'm having to spend another $80 or so on a range extender.
