Canon EOS 80D is well-suited for serious photographers looking for a feature-rich yet affordable camera priced below the top-of-the-line EOS 1DX Mark II.
It sports a 24 MP CMOS sensor that produces detailed photos. Fast moving objects are captured through the speedy autofocusing, which uses a 45-point cross-type viewfinder and Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus technology. Video is recorded in full-HD at a rate of 60 fps. The 3-inch touchscreen is helpful in terms of zooming. Wifi connectivity makes photo and video sharing straightforward.
The new EF-S 18-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens can be purchased separately or as a bundle.

I would not be completely forthright to omit a last piece of advice to those considering the addition of an 80D to their kits. While "80D" appears a fine name in print, quickly saying the name to someone who is unfamiliar with the model name will likely come across as "A.D.D.

When I first handled the Canon EOS 80D, I thought I was holding a 70D. Sure, there are some changes to the button design, but for the large part, the camera remains largely untouched. This includes the button placements.
Canon's EOS 80D is a fully loaded DSLR featuring an APS-C sized, 24.2-Megapixel CMOS imaging sensor with dual-pixel technology. Its large body also houses a DIGIC 6 image processor, a 45-point Cross-Type AF system, 3.0-inch LCD screen, Built-in WiFi, and the ability to capture full 1080p HD videos.
