This is perfect lens
This lens is perfect, but has no IS. It's very difficult to maintain focus in low light condition and little movement can ruin the picture. It has sharp lens, low noise and fast focus. This lens is brilliant, but better get the one with IS for hastle fee.
Pros:
- Fast auto-focus
- Superior build quality
- Super-sharp images

My favorite lens in the world.
This is one of Canon's best lenses. It is not as wide open as the 2.8, but it still workd beautifully for most purposes. It's construction is superb. The controls are nicely damped, and it feels wonderful. It is a fairly heavy lens, but that means that it is full of good glass.

"great lens"
This is a review of the canon EF 70-200mm F4.0 non IS lens. I have own this lens for just over 2 years and it is the best lens I have ever owned. I brought this lens because I wanted to replace my sigma 70-300mm lens which I got in a bundle with the camera which is a good lens for the £200, that is...
Pros:
- super fast
- cheap
- razor sharp
Cons:
- none

OUTSTANDING Equine - Sports action Lens!
Marketing our Egyptian Arabian horses depends first on eye catching photography. So I need moving & posing shots. I was greatly impressed with the extreme fast focus & rapid shots I got. (Horses never stand still for very long.) I didn't know my Canon 20D could fire shots this fast!
Pros:
- Consistent Output
- Fast / accurate auto-focus
- Lightweight
- Rugged

Wow
For years I have looked at the Canon 'white' lense and wanted one. Now, due to being able to upgrade to digital and Smifu's amazing prices, I actually own one. What a lense! Lighter than I expected and much clearer than the old Canon lenses (I got all my old gear out to compare).

Simply one of the best
This has been one of the best lenses I have ever had as a multifunction lens the best it the canon 50mm f-1.2 L series This lens is in addition to several other "L" series lenses that I own I shoot with a 5D Mark II, Canon 7D and the 450D (aks) the SXi.

Sharp Lens and good focal length
This is my first L, but I got chance to try with other L lenses including 100-400. But so far this is one of the sharper L lenses. Comparing it with Canon 50 f/1.4, Rokinon 85 f/1.4(boken king), Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro(non-IS) and others for sharpness on 40D, nothing can beat my 50mm f/1.4.
Pros:
- My first L lens and is sharp
- I had it exchanged once and the second is really good
- Focal length is right for walk around to parks and play grounds in sunlight
- I already knew its slower aperture and lack of IS and no complains on that
- Good bokeh on longer side
Cons:
- My first copy was not good at f/4, but 1-stopped down, its is razor sharp but I returned for an exchange and got a fantastic(may be it is how it is) lens
- No cons for me so far

Great Value for the money
"This is a fast, quiet focusing lens with ""tack sharp"" quality. This is my first L series lens and the images it produces have more than exceeded my expectations. I would hightly recommend this lens."
