I'm only 14 and I got this lens for Christmas. I couldn't be happier!!! It's a great lens but not the best aperture range [only going down to 4]. But still a great lens!!!
A wonderful lens with colors that supra you wherever you are and you're doing a picture. I recommend with the greatest pleasure to take pictures.
I like the lens
Had this lens awhile now it's the cheapest L 70-200mm Canon do, it doesn't have image stabilising or weather seal but the image quality and the build quality are first rate. Well worth the money in fact a bargain.
The box arrived damaged, the box inside was slightly damaged but the lens was fine. Got the lens mounted on canon 700d and mainly use it for wildlife photography. Here are first photos taken with the lens ...
This is the lens if you want a classic images at lower cost. My hands are not used to for taking handheld pictures on this lens so I am using tripod. I generally shoot outdoors so never faced slow focus. Clarity of images are really awesome. Love the color composition of end product.
This was the first lens and my 1st L lens. Only having the 18-55 kit lens before, really showed up how bad that lens was. AF is fast and almost silent. Images are sharp throughout the focal length and bokeh is impressive.
Sharp; good IQ; fast focus....and it's white :
It makes your kit lens look silly
Canon users were always gifted with a broad range of excellent tele lenses, especially zooms. At the time the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 USM L hit the market back in 1999 it was another milestone but there was one itch left: wouldn't it be nice to have this lens with an image stabilizer ?
What Digital Camera founds out if this Canon f/4 lens is better designed than the flagship 70-200mm f/2.8L lens.
