Bought this unit to replace an old mono Brother MFC with Duplex scanning. Same price as I paid years ago but with color and easier scanning. The inclusion of a new Black Toner cartridge sealed the deal. Printing is crisp and clean.

Bought this printer through Costco. I read reviews on just about every printer in this price range and they all had negatives, but this one had the least. So far this printer has exceeded my expectations. Efficient, quiet, fast, and great quality. Highly recommend for a small office setting.

I gave two eggs because it is a decent printer. But for the price, I expect much more reliability from the printer AND support!

Good features and the LCD controls are large and easy to use

I purchased this printer in May 2015; Immediately after setting it up I found that the upper paper feed door interferes with the lower paper tray; I contacted support and they quickly sent another; The second one had the same issue but not as bad.

This printer is so good because it has it all. It has a fax function, prints, and is wireless. I think that is all anyone can ask for when wanting a generic office printer! It is very good, have had no problems with this brother printer so far.

Colour printer/scanner that can operate with cable or wifi network and can automatically print in booklet format (saves paper and creates nice compact documents if you have to carry them around). Very pleased with it.

The printer works as described. Some people have described this as a monster product but once out of the box I found it not much different than other similar products to move and place on the counter. The installation software was easy to run and seemed to work ok.

Very easy to set up & use wireless. Print quality is very good. When printing large number of copies it stops for a few seconds every 30 pages or so I assume to prevent heat build up. It still prints 32 pages per minute with the pause. Excellent app to print from your Android or Apple phone.

We recently spent some time with the MFC-L8850CDW, which is pitched at organisations with around 20-50 users, and that could include SOHO environments...

Brother's MFC-L8850CDW is a good colour laser MFP, but we'd go for a high-end inkjet alternative
