Good Machine - Troublesome to use

To begin with Brother makes very good products, they don't make good customer service reps. Nothing is really straightforward with this machine, regular customer service calls are necessary to figure out getting computers added to it for scanning destinations.

This business-centric inkjet is a rare combo: It prints, scans, copies, and faxes tabloid-size documents, uses cheap ink, and does one-pass, two-sided scanning.

Tabloid printing; scanning; copying; and faxing; Excellent print quality; speeds across the board; Strong cloud; mobile-device support; Low cost per page; Single-pass auto-duplexing ADF; Deep paper capacity across three sources

Hodgepodge of mobile/cloud apps should be one or two comprehensive apps

Best printer I've ever owned

For a full description of its strengths and weaknesses (almost none), the PCMag review is spot on. There's a newer model out now with larger ink tanks, the MFC-J6945DW but I don't own it. Fast, low cost - about 1/4–1/5 the ink cost of the HP I replaced. Almost no warm-up time till print begins.

Hugely Disappointed

On paper it looked like just what I needed - an A3 multi-function printer with a relatively small footprint. Unfortunately the print quality is dreadful, very washed out. I wanted the printer to replace an OKI A4 multi-function printer but I have had to revert to my older but excellent machine.

Brother MFC-J6935DW

The Brother MFC-J6935DW provides great value in a wide-format all-in-one printer. Its virtues include good speed and output quality, an abundance of connection choices, very low running costs, a good feature set including cavernous paper capacity and a single-pass, two-sided scanner, and the ability...

Very low running costs; Good output quality, led by great text quality; Prints, scans, copies, and faxes at up to tabloid size; Voluminous paper capacity

I have had it now for many months. I had an older version, that is why I bought this one. My issues are, it doesn't wake up automatically when you send a print. I have to push the on bottom, I also takes a long time to be fully ready when it wakes up, it goes through many processes before it is...

Brilliant for small network.

This is big. Really big. Coffee table big. It will not fit on your desk and is more suitable to a small office. I set it up really easily, in minutes. It's wifi enabled, and my three W10 PCs on the network picked it up easily.

Brother MFC-J6935DW Review

The Brother MFC-J6935DW ($349.99) color inkjet all-in-one printer is one of the few micro- or home-office inkjets that can not only print, but also copy, scan, and fax tabloid-size (11-by-17 inches) sheets. The Editors' Choice HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer can at least print, copy, and scan (if not fax) sheets up to this size, but the MFC-J6935DW has more generous paper capacity and considerably lower running costs than the HP 7740 while rivaling it in speed and output quality, and easily earns an Editors' Choice. The MFC-J6935DW is very similar to the Brother MFC-J6930DW, but adds the PCL5 printer language and a low-paper warning. The most important change, though, is that it supports the use of Brother's INKvestment cartridges, while the Brother MFC-J6930DW doesn't, leaving the latter printer with considerably higher running costs. Also, the J6935DW's graphics quality is slightly better than what we saw with the MFC-J6930DW. Wide-Format Wiz Unsurprisingl...

The Brother MFC-J6935DW can print, copy, scan, and fax at up to tabloid (11-by-17) size, and has very low running costs compared with most of its peers.
