Faded print outs after only 25,000 pages. I had to buy a a $160 fuzer kit . I also noted that the laser unit has 42% life remaining. I searched online and found out that many small business owners like myself have the same problem. Brother used to make reliable products . Not any more .

Worked excellent for about 6 months. Now wrinkles nearly every page on duplex. Replaced the toner and drum, still having the same issue.

Would NOT recommend this printer. Brother's service rep's recommendation was to remove it from my office to another room. Reconnect to a different outlet, then snake a 30 foot USB cord thought the rooms from the printer to the computer. REALLY Another recommendation was to hire an electrician.

Nice printer, fast and cheap and easy maintenance

Purchased about one month ago after extensive evaluation of similar printers. Initial experience meets my expectations and operates as expected. The only (confusing) issue is the way the manual feed tray works.

Printer was simple to install and runs very well. I love that the printer holds a ream of paper. I have several people in my office that have used various Brother models and liked them. I am happy with this product.

the cost of the toner cartridges is very attractiv

I replaced an HP laser printer with this machine. This machine is really good for printing envelopes with a straight through path. The back opens up and the envelopes go straight through without wrinkling.. Its also prints duplex really well which saves money on paper. I really love this machine.

The good: Good print quality and print speed The bad: When I first picked up the box I expected it to be much heavier. Once unpacked, the printer feels cheap. The plastic is much thinner than the HL-6050 that it replaces and the paper feed rollers are smaller.

We have this at work for a team of 20 on a network. Duplex is fast but it gets hot after 100 or so pages. It will print 400 pages quite happliy from the extra tray in one go. My main gripe is it uses lots of toner. 1,000 sides of A4 text and it starts to complain about low toner.
