On print jobs of approximately 600 or more pages, the printer may end the job before its completed, like around page 500 and something. Or it may start the job from page one again, without warning, right in the middle of the print job, and never make it to the end the first time around.

Excellent printer. When printing large jobs, the printer does run around 28-30ppm black & white. The only issue is the shallow depth of the paper catch tray, which after a large about of printing, will overflow. Making it deeper would be a great improvement.

This is the best color laser printer I have owned. Easy to set up and install. Did not have any problems installing it to my PC. Quality of print is excellent. This is my second color laser printer but my first Brother printer. I am sold on it.

While he says that the printer is solidly built, Simon Williams of Trusted Reviews says the flip-open shelf that holds printouts is a little flimsy, warning that it may break if someone bumps into it as they walk past.

I owned a brother printer for 11 yrs - only went through 2 things of toner. It finally stopped feeding paper after a long productive life. I realize things have changed, but I hope this one is here for the long haul! I loved my old brother!

The Brother HL-4570CDW is the next model up from the HL-4150CDN. The primary differences are that this model offers faster print speeds and the added convenience of Wi-Fi support. However, it's a good deal more expensive as it costs around £520 online, which is around £200 more than its sibling.

The HL-4570CDW may be quick to print and cheap to run, but its colour accuracy isn’t all that good and the £200 premium over the HL-4150CDN seems a bit excessive to us.

Little complicated on set-up, but very nice printer. You have scroll to enter Wep key,took a little while. Other then that excellent printer.

Love the printer even if the colours are too dark for photos. the downside is a 6000 page toner only prints about 3000 even on toner save. The help desk suggested I never switch it off (???) and that would cure the fault. Guess what, it didn't.

fast comapred to inkjet and auto duplex makes for ease of use

Toner consumption not as advertised; eg only getting about half what a toner should give

Instructions for setting up using USB are simple and the printer works first time. Wireless set up is more complicated.
