Great Printer

This printer is is really easy to setup and install. The included instruction is easy to follow and simple. Wired network printing is also easy to setup, this requires a router that you have to buy separately. Duplex printing is also great, very easy to use. This feature saves paper.

Brother HL-4150CDN review: Brother HL-4150CDN

The HL-4150CDN is part of a new range of laser printers from Brother that offer colour printing at an affordable price and are designed for those who need a printer that can churn out a lot of documents on a daily basis.

The 4150's reasonable running costs and fast print speed make it a good option for those who need to pump out a lot of colour pages on a regular basis. Its colour pages are on the dark side, though.

Modest print costs; Fast print speed for both colour and B&W documents;; Supports duplex printing.

Colour pages tend to look darker than they should be; Some slight banding on. large blocks of colour; No Wi-Fi support.

Brother HL-4150CDN

The HL-4150CDN and its sibling printers represent Brother's first move into the workgroup colour laser printer market, where they're up against major names, such as HP, the market leader. A newcomer has to offer some obvious advantages to cut a niche in this crowded sector.

I've owned this printer for a little less than a week now and have been very pleasantly surprised by it's performance. I've had great luck with Brother printers in the past and this printer has only reinforced my belief that Brother printers are well built little work horses.

This printer is fast; the color quality is excellent; Set up was a breeze; FAST printing; even in full color; Duplexer works great (on Windows); Network attached - LDP; IPP and JetDirect

Duplexer doesn't work on Linux; Power draw/heat

Brother HL-4150CDN review Review

Its colour print-outs may be a little bit dark for some tastes, but the 4150's modest running costs and fast print speed still make it a good bet for those who need to produce a lot of colour documents on a daily basis.

Some of today's printers are very much style over substance, using beautiful curves and flashy visuals to detract from the slightly ordinary performance. The Brother HL-4150CDN colour laser printer, however, is definitely not in this category.

not bad

easy set up, seems solid, colors are a little off and not very sharp. but for my purposes will be ok. not sure if you were doing reports where colors are important. you may want to spend more $. had a HP 1600 that made better prints but it passed on. so time to replace.

Good Value; Easy to Use; Easy to Set Up

Brother HL-4150CDN review

It's surprising how cheap colour laser printers have become. The new Brother range starts at only £260, though this particular model is a little more expensive at £445. The Brother HL-4150CDN can be connected through USB or Ethernet, and can serve one to 10 users.
