I have had this unit since 2011 and make an expresso almost every day. This unit has performed flawlessly over the last 6+ years. It also makes a great expresso ... as good or better than the ones sold in speciality coffee shops. Side note: Breville has great customer service.
I've had it for a few months; the portafilter (part above the portafilter) sometimes gets clogged, that affects the brewing pressure. You need to clean it out to get it fixed. Managed to get it fix after contacting support.

Asked questions about the coffee machine the guy showed me the one I wanted told me where to buy the coffee beans and helpful hints even got a bargain he also carries it to the car even though hubby was with me I would be going back as the customer care was very good
My wife and I are genuinely happy with this machine. We had a pod machine before this but I've had the top shelf Breville machines at work. I was concerned this machine would be a bit harder or take longer to make coffees but it really isn't and with fresh beans, we are drinking amazing coffee every day now. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it lacks some great features of the better models like Auto dose and tamp, dual boiler and auto steam wand.
Good little machine. You need to be super fiddly with the inbuilt grinder to get the right amount, as it tends to pile up and just go everywhere when set to defaults. I now meausre my beans and only put that amount in the grinder. When using the frother I recommend spraying just into the waste tray for about 10 seconds, otherwise your milk jar will be full of water, not steam. The colour seems be super easy to scratch off, so fingers crossed it doesn't fade too fast...
