Bose SoundLink Revolve review
The Bose SoundLink Revolve is an excellent choice for those looking for a true 360-degree listening experience. Yes, it's expensive but it sounds great. The biggest issue is that the Revolve lacks dust and waterproofing which means that it's not the speaker you want to take with you to the beach.- True 360-degree sound
- Beautiful design and build
- Detailed and expansive sound
- Only 30ft (10m) range
- Charging dock not included
- Not fully water or dust proof
Having trawled many reviews for different Bluetooth speakers, I plumped for this one because of the consistent good reviews and the quality of Bose speakers. It's worth every penny, such a rich sound and deep base and excellent sound quality in the garden, which is ultimately what I bought it for.

While I'd lean toward the bigger Revolve Plus, Bose's SoundLink Revolve is still of the best-sounding Bluetooth speakers for its size.- The sleek Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker sounds excellent for its compact size
- Battery life is good at 12 hours, there's a threaded tripod mount on the bottom of the speaker and an integrated microphone for speakerphone calls.
- Expensive, and the cradle that makes charging easier is an optional $30 accessory
- The pricier Revolve Plus sounds even better.
Bose SoundLink Revolve
Cylindrical design, 360-degree omnidirectional sound. If you've been monitoring the Bluetooth speaker space, you're probably aware that such descriptors are nothing new. Ultimate Ears led the 360-degree charge with its Boom , Boom 2 and Megaboom , and JBL's popular cylindrical Flip and Charge series...- The sleek Bose SoundLink Revolve Bluetooth speaker sounds excellent for its compact size

Bose SoundLink Revolve review: Classy, round, room-filling sound
The Bluetooth speaker market has changed a lot in the years since the likes of the Jawbone Jambox kickstarted a new movement in loud, room-filling, portable speakers. Now more traditional audio companies are dominating, by pushing the design and audio envelopes year on year.- Small
- premium
- portable design and balanced
- controlled sound that fills rooms with ease
- Sound balance may not be to everyone's taste
- would be great to have smart assistant capabilities
Bose SoundLink Revolve
The buzz in Bluetooth speakers these days is all around 360-degree audio, with the music sounding the same no matter where you are in the room. The SoundLink Revolve is Bose getting in on that omnidirectional-audio act.- Excellent treble and mid-range detail
- Effective 360-degree sound
- Stylish and solidly built
- Weatherproof
- Lean bass
- Ragged at top volume
