Bose QuietControl 30 Wireless Headphones

The Bose QuietControl 30 Wireless Headphones are typically Bose: Well crafted, sounding good and feeling fine. The adjustable noise reduction does what it's supposed to and the package includes three pairs of StayHear+(QC) earmolds in S, M and L, a USB charging cable and a pretty large carrying...

Bose QuietControl® 30 Wireless Headphones 761448-0010 review

So long as you don't expect the most powerful noise-canceling, the QuietControl 30 works really well as an everyday headphone. You can use it at the gym or for running.

The Bose QuietControl 30 is well-built, very comfortable to wear, offers variable noise-canceling and excellent sound quality for a Bluetooth headphone; It's also sweat-resistant and can be used as a sports headphone; Works well as a headset.

Pricey; Noise-canceling isn't as effective as QuietComfort 20 or QuietComfort 35; No wired option to plug into airline entertainment systems.

Bose QuietControl 30 review: The ultimate neckband-style Bluetooth headphone

Think of Bose's QuietControl 30 ($300, £230 or AU$449) as the ultimate neckband-style Bluetooth headphone. (That's the style that looks like a horseshoe draped around the back of a person's neck, which LG pioneered with its top-selling Tone series.)

Bose QuietControl 30 Review

The QuietControl 30 is the biggest change in Bose's QuietComfort lineup since launched its first in-ear noise cancelling pair in 2013. It's such a significant change, in fact, that if you pay close attention, you'll notice it gets its own branding. But make no mistake, the $299.95 QuietControl 30 is every bit as comfortable as the over-ear QuietComfort 35 ($299.00 at Amazon) , it just happens to come in the form of wireless earphones. The neckband-style design may be a deal breaker for some, but the noise cancellation circuitry is the best available. And the Bose Connect app allows you to control the excellent ambient mic feature as well, making this a versatile, capable set of earphones that is destined to be many a business traveler's favorite carry-on item. The QC 30 may not be cheap, but it's worth it, and easily earns our Editor's Choice award. The Bose QuietControl 30 earphones combine Bluetooth connectivity and effective ambient mics with industry-leading noise cancellation technology.

Unbeatable noise cancellation; Wireless connectivity; Solid audio performance with rich bass and crisp highs; Ambient mics allow you to monitor your surroundings

Neckband design is not for everyone; Expensive
