Outstanding when placed correctly
The more I listen the more I am amazed. I must say that at first I disregarded all instructions when setting this system up. I placed the satellites too far from each other, and not at ear level. Plus I tried to tweak them using the windows audio settings. I was crushed.

Companion 5 speakers create an incredible sound experience.
In my opinion, the sound quality of the Bose Companion 5 speaker is absolutely amazing. If you're playing music from your computer, it actually sounds like it is live at a concert. Blu-Ray movies sound incredible and the Bose speaker deliver the true surround-sound experience.

- Very expensive
- Bass box takes up a lot of space
- This is only one AUX input socket

Companion 5 Worth the big bucks?You bet
The Bose Companion 5 blows the compitition away! I thought it was a bit pricy untill I compared it to some other brands near by. It is money well spent. I watch more movies. Listen to more music. The clarity of sound is UNMATCHED!Need more bass?

Excellent speaker system with brilliantly powerful and clear music. Easy to control.
I debated for a long time whether to purchase the companion 3 or 5 speakers, as it was a ￡50 price difference and from what I could see all you got was a USB connection and a claim the companion 5s can reproduce 5.1 surround sound. I eventually gave in to the companion 5s and I was not disappointed!

Bose Companion 5 Multimedia Speaker System
At 64 years old I have owned just about every type of sound system and brands on the market to date "and I love my music". I didn't want to spend the asking price for this system "but" I am so glad I did. I have owned Bose products in the past and I still do, besides the Bose 5 system.

Good Value for the Price
Its simply superb product and worth for the price.The Bose system in my llving room (about a 14 x 18 foot room) is remarkable. Across all ranges, from highs to lows, the Bose system delivers sharp, clean sound. I am impressed.

Sounds excellent
Sound is excellent, I was thinking of going for the Companion 3 but shelled out the $ for the 5. I am completely happy with the sound quality, high end is crisp, bass is solid, design is done right.

Great Speakers
I bought these to replace a 12 year old pair of Sony's that were given to me and there is an immediate difference. I could not believe how good my CD's sound and I'm pleasantly pleased that I can connect my iPod directly into the volume control. This is great if you don't feel like firing up the PC.
