great for a short time
I have purchased 2 sets of these and both times they played really awsome for about 1.5 years and both sets have died out on me after that. They are really awsome for the sound and money at first but it is VERY agrivating to have both set die on me in such a short time.

While there isn't a huge selection of high-end PC speaker sets, there are some options out there if you're a music lover and want quality sound on your PC or laptop. We tested products by a newcomer in PC sound, and also a familiar face, and three studio monitor sets.

Great Speakers
I bought these to replace a 12 year old pair of Sony's that were given to me and there is an immediate difference. I could not believe how good my CD's sound and I'm pleasantly pleased that I can connect my iPod directly into the volume control. This is great if you don't feel like firing up the PC.

Short Life Span
With new MacBook Pro's; forget it. Aside from that, as usual with Bose, they don't last very long in terms of quality. After 6 months, I had to replace them. Fortunately, you'll get much better sound quality for a much better price from Altec Lansing and they'll last you longer.

Unbelievable sound
The sound that comes out of these little speakers is incredible. We have multiple Bose speakers around the house including the Wave radio. The sound from these little speakers gives their big brothers a run for their money. I would buy this product again, again, again!

More than amazing!
This speakers make you feel that you are in a recording studio. They are incredible, you can feel every single sound of the song/radio etc you are playing, more than recomended!!

Unbelievable
Don't listen to the three star review! These speakers are outstanding, low pitch mid pitch and high pitch! Top quality! You can adjust the base with the little knob on the back of the sub-woofer. The control pod is great!

Impressive Volume of Sound
This is probably the best computer speaker system you can buy. It connects via USB and has no facility to connect through your sound card. I don't know at this time whether or not you can remove your sound card from your system or if it's still needed for signal processing.

Sound investment!
This top of the range BOSE system is one of the best, if not the best, computer speaker systems on the market and is great value for money. I really like the reliability that the wired connections provide and am a big fan of the simple USB computer connection.
