Super Awesome
This is my best purchase. After going through various options from Sony, Bose and Yamaha. I found this to be unmatched in terms of sound quality. I was hesitant to buy this one as it was 2.1 system against others who were offering 5.1 system with multiple inputs.

Too Frustrating For Me!
I had to return these under Bose great warranty. I REALLY wish they'd have worked for me- the sound was great as was the style. I use a MacBook Pro that I unhook from power and Thunderbolt daily when leaving work- same basic setup I've used for 19 years with Harman Kardon SoundSticks.

Bose Companion 5 system
If the price would have been $100 less, I would have given it 4 stars; and if it was $200 less I would have given it 5 stars. I have both the Klipch ProMedia 2.1 and the Logitech Z2300, both of which cost less than half of the Bose but sound equally good, or better.
Pros:
- Beautiful
- crisp
- clean sound at low volume
Cons:
- Bass falls flat at higher volume
- Too expensive for what you get

otherwise relax and enjoy wonderful sound quality
Bose is the brand name in home speakers. Yes they're costly, but worth every dime. I've had multiple speaker combinations on various computers, and these beat them all hands down. Audio wise they're clean with little sound coloration from top to bottom, which itself is adjustable.

Wow! Phenomenal Sound!
This system flat out RoCkS! I was not expecting it to sound THIS great! The 2 desktop speakers are small and easy to place. The Subwoofer is sorta long, pretty heavy, and packs out some really nice bass!

Had high hopes when ordering this system and was not disappointed. I have never listened to so much music. I wake up excited to turn them on and get home from work excited to turn them right up. They are so loud of the size of them and the sound doesn't distort even when turned all the way up.

"These Speakers are Amazing"
so glad I upgraded to the $399 speakers rather then the $99 for my computer BOSE . Great investment . And the payment plan made it so I could purchase them . Stoked !

These speakers are awesome. I have owned now for just over 2 years, and they produce great sound. One thing I love is their minimalist design - I didn't want something that dominated my desk, and these Bose speakers are ideal for that. Another great feature is the Bose volume knob.

Good speaker system

Not a great product IMO.
This was my first purchase of a Bose product to replace my old Logitech speakers that lasted years. I was quite surprised that there is no way to connect these speakers to my audio output jacks or adjust the sound quality and effects with my computers software.
Pros:
- Nice looking and decent sound
Cons:
- Not able to connect to audio output jacks or sound cards
- No software to adjust sound effects or quality
