Great machine, yes its expensive. But it cleans well, its quite and even opens the door at the end of the cycle.

Ive been looking at a series 8 for some time and was delighted that a new model came out just as I wanted to purchase. It is super quiet and does a great job cleaning. The third shelf gives extra space and the layout on the two main draws means plenty can fit in. The only downside is it is difficult to have dinner plates in the bottom draw and taller glasses on the middle as either the spray arm gets stuck on the plates or the taller cups hit the top shelf and you cant slide in the draw, you need some cleaver arranging off your dishes to make it work. As with my other Bosch appliances Ive got use to having the internal led light but this newer model doesnt have this over the previous one. The door opening at the end of the cycle helps to completely dry dishes which is great. Although the dishwasher connects to your phone it seems silly to have to press the remote button on the dishwasher everyone so that you can use this feature. Covers all my needs but one, the height of the glasses rack is too short, my hands are suffering from age and short fatter glasses are too difficult for me to hold, this I am sure would be something many people would have

Replacing an Asko that had died meant finding the best I could, and if I couldnt get that, then the best I could get. Research told me the series 8 Bosch was the best, but I couldnt find it. Thats where the excellent service at the Good Guys came in I went to buy the series 6 (available) but they looked and searched and found me a series 8!!

Good dishwasher. Does the job. Expensive. One sliding wheel was missing on delivery. Got a brand new replacement within few months installed for no extra cost
