Bodycount

Chris Watters leaves behind a massive Bodycount during this video review.

Skillshots can be gratifying; Some sizable and appealing environments; A few fun guns

Gameplay feels flat; Campaign is only six hours long; Enemy AI is lackluster; Multiplayer modes are rudimentary

When a game is released, it enters into competition for the time and money of its target audience. The latest entry into the first-person shooter fray is Bodycount, a game that tries to gain a foothold by putting you on semi-destructible battlefields where skillful kills are rewarded with powerful...

Review: Bodycount (360/PS3)

Shamefully repetitive level design and an overall glaring lack of variety are just a few of the problems plaguing Codemasters' shooter, Bodycount.

The game works; mechanics and controls are fairly sound; occasional moments of fun during campaign

Don't Listen to Haters

I reserved this game because i heard it was just like "Black" after playing the demo i too had my doubts and almost cancelled it but went with a gut feeling and bought it. I was the only one to reserve it and got the only copy the store got!!!

Bodycount review

After 35,693 shots fired, 583 grenades thrown and 2,184 bad guys killed, Bodycount's single-player mode lies bleeding before me. All seven hours and eight minutes of it. And I'm happy to report it was damn fun shooting holes in everything. In that respect, it is a big success.

Fantastically destructive action, OSB works beautifully..; online, Very fun when it's all kicking off

Poor signposting and checkpoints; Bodycount mode is a level select; Highly suspect grading system

Bodycount

When we jokingly asked Codemasters back at a preview event some months ago whether there was any connection between its title and the Iegendary band fronted by Ice-T, there was a dismissive laugh.

Good feel to every weapon; unrelenting pacing

Unimaginative missions; generic enemy designs; poor variety on levels; bland story; short campaign

Bodycount Review

You can tell a lot about a game from its Achievements. After one hour and six minutes of playing Bodycount, it had doled out 335 points. Not only are the names uninspired ('Boombastic' - really?) but they're handed out in great chunks for standard progression.

PS3/X360 Review - 'Bodycount'

In Bodycount players become ensnared in a clandestine global power struggle as a powerful combat asset with a green-light to eliminate enemies known only as ‘Targets' on behalf of the ‘Network'.

Bodycount

A game called "Bodycount" was never going to be the subtlest of affairs. This proves to be the case from the outset as you're tossed into the midst of an African civil war with little more than a brace of firearms and some garbled instructions from the obligatory sassy female voice in your head.

Explosive action; instant thrills; big guns

Repetitive; soulless; brief
