PlayStation 3 Review: Bodycount

At some point in time, you've probably wanted to become some sort of hero for the world. A quick glance at the news or papers will relay the horrors going on all over the globe: genocide, war, rallies by the Tea Party movement - it's hard to sit by and idly watch these horrific things happen without...

Test Bodycount

Mediocre game is fine for teens but not worth the $60

As far as M games go, i think that Bodycount really isn't too horrible. In fact I think the only reason its rated M is for one skippable cutscene where a man is shot at close range.

Review: Bodycount (PS3)

The scoring system may seem a little tricky at first, but it generously doles out multiple rewards further in the game. There's plenty of room to move around in the maps and line up shots with precision. This freedom is leveraged to reward Skillshots involving headshots, grenades, and landmines.

Refined visuals; Semi-destructible environments; Fun skillshots

Limited number of guns and maps; Short gameplay; Repetitive missions; Lacklustre AI

Bodycount

Bodycount brings us back to the glory days of arcade firefights with its blending of environment tearing and big-bang explosives. Feel the need for a little more speed in your shooter? then we have a game for you.

Fast and smooth gunplay; Lots of destruction; Graphics hold up with their own unique style; Almost an orb -- lots of shiny icons to pick up; Skill shot your way onto the leaderboards

The narrative completely fails; Shallow gameplay; Run-around boring objectives; Auto-aiming could be a deal breaker for some

Bodycount-The game that made me play more demos

So I was at Best Buy and I saw this game called Bodycount I had no idea about the ratings nor have I played the demos. It looked fun so I bought it for $40.00. When I after the first mission I quit the game, put it back in the box and never touched since.

Good game

Fun arcade style shooter that should appeal to any casual gamer. Can be repetitive but I enjoy turning my brain off for a while to just blast everything that moves on the game. This game won't get attention from the main stream game mags. but this is an okay game to enjoy.

This game is a brand new level of racism. I've played it for a few hours now, and I killed hundreds of black people. Also they are the dumbest enemies in video game history, making the Goombas from Super Mario Brothers looking like geniuses.

Bodycount

Mediocre: An exercise in apathy, neither Solid nor Liquid. Not exactly bad, but not very good either. Just a bit 'meh,' really.
