Bodycount

Bodycount has been pinned as the spiritual successor to Black, but this couldn't be any further from the truth. The latter was full of quality at the end of the last generation's lifespan, while this title whimpers to a halt in a key point of 2011's gaming calendar.

Below Average Bargain Bin Shooter

So for some reason I was really excited about this game - I like a "dumb fun" First Person Shooter as much as the next guy, and I heard this one had some decent chaos/explosions, etc...

Bodycount-The game that made me play more demos

So I was at Best Buy and I saw this game called Bodycount I had no idea about the ratings nor have I played the demos. It looked fun so I bought it for $40.00. When I after the first mission I quit the game, put it back in the box and never touched since.

Bodycount

When we jokingly asked Codemasters back at a preview event some months ago whether there was any connection between its title and the Iegendary band fronted by Ice-T, there was a dismissive laugh.

Good feel to every weapon; unrelenting pacing

Unimaginative missions; generic enemy designs; poor variety on levels; bland story; short campaign

Bodycount

A game called "Bodycount" was never going to be the subtlest of affairs. This proves to be the case from the outset as you're tossed into the midst of an African civil war with little more than a brace of firearms and some garbled instructions from the obligatory sassy female voice in your head.

Explosive action; instant thrills; big guns

Repetitive; soulless; brief

Bodycount Review

On first sight, Bodycount's gameplay pillars are inviting: with arcade shooters being few and far between this generation and destructible environments remaining surprisingly underused, there's some real potential for compelling gameplay here.

Bodycount

Bodycount brings us back to the glory days of arcade firefights with its blending of environment tearing and big-bang explosives. Feel the need for a little more speed in your shooter? then we have a game for you.

Fast and smooth gunplay; Lots of destruction; Graphics hold up with their own unique style; Almost an orb -- lots of shiny icons to pick up; Skill shot your way onto the leaderboards

The narrative completely fails; Shallow gameplay; Run-around boring objectives; Auto-aiming could be a deal breaker for some

"Very disappointing."

The graphics were very average for a game that is worth $70, I brought this game at $9 and personally believe it isnt even worth that. Although I brought this game in the hopes it was similar to another game by CM called "Black" but it isnt :(
