It's called a sequel...

But this game is more of a remaster, where the developers haven't really bothered to fix anything, and in some cases, have made things worse.

"Great game"

This game is a good fill in for those waiting for the Total War – Warhammer series. Addictive play and hours of scenarios in the Hundred year war, haven't even got to the Nightmare campaign yet.

Bladestorm: Nightmare

A barely-improved version of a seven-year-old game with a fantastical bonus campaign, Bladestorm: Nightmare remains an anomaly, for better and worse.

I know I've spent a lot of time pointing out all the negatives in Bladestorm: Nightmare , but it gives the fans exactly what they wanted: a Dynasty Warriors -like game set in Europe. The Hundred Years' War is a very intriguing period of history, and the original story set in it does still hold up.
Pros:
  • Fans of the genre will get exactly what they are looking for
Cons:
  • Listless combat
  • too much downtime during battles
  • sub-par narrative

Strangely fun little game

Strangely fun little game. Found myself able to pour hours of my life into it without regret. Also, Little Kuribo, popular abridge maker and international man of mystery, voices a character in it. Neat.

PS4 Review - 'Bladestorm: Nightmare'

We've seen plenty of attempts, ranging from voice-controlled games to fast-paced heavy metal action games, but all have been found...
