Audio-Technica ANC9 headphones
The greatest gift a pair of noise- cancelling headphones can give – provided they deliver on what they promise – is the ability to drown out the noise of the world and offer a moment, or two, to focus only on the music. It's selective hearing at its best.

Audio Technica's ATH-ANC9 Over-the-Ear Headphones don't have an overly heavy duty look to them, which makes them unassuming and clean looking. But, of course, headphones are about functionality.

Great Prodict, happy to have found them
Product has worked as expected. noise cancellation is great, the big plus is that you dont always have to have the noise canceling on and dont need batteries to use all the time. I cant imagine having to change batteries every 30-40 hours of use, most of the time I use them without cancellation and...

Best headphone for travelling
After intense researching on many sites and knowing the fact that Bose are the best; I chose to buy this one. While I came to know that Bose QC3 has laughable Noise cancelling; I wasnt very impressed with Bose QC15 reviews either when it came to compete with this Audio Technica Headphone.

These worked a treat on my long flights. They reduced the roar of the 777 to a dull hum that you barely notice once you have music or other audio playing. Only negatives is the size (they dont fold) and the battery being hard to remove from the batt..

There's no shortage of similar-looking noise-canceling headphones on the market, and the Audio Technica ATH-ANC9 QuietPoint does little to separate itself from the group visually.
Pros:
- Deep bass response, with no distortion at top volumes
- Lightweight, comfortable construction
- Outputs audio in passive mode
- Removable cables-one with inline microphone and remote
Cons:
- Slightly overpriced
- Noise cancellation mics sometimes allow low transient sounds into in-ear mix
- Doesn't ship with a rechargeable battery
