Audio-Technica ATH-ANC9
The ANC9s sound great, and even better when noise cancelling is active. Memory foam creates a comfortable fit, but it's just a shame that you need to keep AAA batteries handy to get the most of out them.- Excellent, even-handed sound
- Great noise cancelling
- Generous sale pack
- Non-rechargeable battery
Audio-Technica ATH-ANC9 QuietPoint Active Noise-cancelling Headphones
Good noise cancelling. For added bass dwnload a software that manipulate sound prouced of the headphones.
Audio-Technica ATH-ANC9 Review: Noise Cancelling on the Cheap
The $119 Audio-Technica ATH-ANC9 over-ear headphones offer a no-frills wired design with stellar active noise cancelling (ANC) performance, balanced sound and a price tag that isn't too hard to swallow.- Comfortable
- over-ear design for long listening sessions
- Three modes of active noise cancellation
- Balanced sonic profile
- ANC circuit powered by AAA battery
- Lacks automatic-shut-off feature for ANC
- Design doesn't wow
Its awesome.
I used this for the office, to work quietly and it performs great. The only sad part consumes battery power as crazy it last just 2 days on. just be aware to turn it off when you are not using it and done. :)
Audio-Technica ATH-ANC9
The Audio Technica ATH-ANC9 noise-cancelling headphones are very easy to use and carry around. They cancel a fair amount of noise and are extremely lightweight. Still, they don't rank very high in our comparison because they lack Bluetooth, and higher-ranked models have better sound quality.- These headphones weigh under 8 ounces
- so they're super light and easy to wear
- They don't have Bluetooth
- so you always need the cable to listen

Works as advertised. I can detect white noise in background when active cancellation is on. Use headphones when background noise in office gets too irritating. By themselves with active cancellation can still hear loud talkers sitting next to me in office.
Average noise cancelling, OK not great
The headphones are good, overall sound-quality is average and the noise-cancelling works, there noise cancelling is just average (not that great as Bose QC25). If your a audiophile like me I would recommend the 'Audio-Technica ATH-M70x', it around the same price and the audio sound great.
Could Not Be Happier With Them
I had a pair of Bose QC3's that failed, and after doing some research and checking out a co-workers QC25's I decided to not go with Bose's trade-in program and look into another brand.
"Great headphones, very comfortable on my head"
This is very good product, I have used them and they are fabulous, the sound is crystal clear. Only one drawback and that is that there is no rechargeable battery, that would be big win.
very good
