provides great sound for you, not so much for those around you.

lets see where to begin. certainly the most comfortable pair of headsets i have ever had. however that comes at a cost, as mentioned in cons it leaks sound. not just on the higher volumes either, if you can hear the sound, the people next to you can hear it also.

sound quality; comfort; good sturdy cord

leaks sound like crazy; not a headset for public use

Amazing for gaming! Great for general use.

I bought this product as I was looking for some gaming and general use headphones with a large soundstage, and boy, am I happy with my choice. These open design headphones feel great on your head. They are extremely light and very comfortable with the velvet earpads.

Amazing quality for an amazing price

To go along with my new iPod and new iPad I really wanted a pair of top quality Headphones. I was originally interested in the Beats by Dre brand but I was put off by their ridiculous price for what was essentially a well packaged pair of average headphones.

Meet the ATH-AD700, an entry-level set of open-backed cans from Audio-Technica with a rather unique design. While they aren't the best-performing headphones we've seen from the Japanese headphone company, these are solid entry-level cans at a great price.

Decent

I wasn't expecting too much, but I was hoping for a little more than this. The sound is pretty accurate and crisp. The high hertz sounds don't hurt my ears like they do in other headphones, and the bass is tight instead of distorted.

Accurate sound (no distortion) Perfect cord length Durable cord and jacks Extremely comfortable 3D sound placement

No noise cancellation what-so-ever Overall underwhelming sound

Exellent!

In comparison with my HD448 Senneheiser , already very good headphone is distinguished by its high heat, which seems so cold and stiff that Senneheiser. the level of detail is also slightly higher, every nuance or texture is faithfully recreated.

Great headphones. No issues whatsoever.

I'm not really a fan of the material they use on the cups. That's my only negative. The next pair I get I'll be making sure they're super comfortable.

Everyone loves making a statement. Irrespective of how shy you are, you want to make people sit up and take notice. The ATH-AD700 makes sure you get all the attention you need, and then some. The gold and purple paintjob that'll get you noticed across continents is as loud as Lady Gaga's wardrobe.

Clean bass; comfy

Huge; comically so if you've got a small noggin
