We've reviewed several pairs of Audio-Technica headphones over the past year and really enjoyed them. On paper, the ATH-AD700 look like they could be another winning set of cans from Audio-Technica, a highly reputable manufacturer of all things pro-sound.

The Audio-Technica ATH-AD700s headphones surprise with their unusual appearance and performance. Outperforming most of the competitors in its price range these headphones are quite a treat to anyone looking for a set of $100 headphones.

The Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 headphones are worth every penny I paid for them at Newegg. I will continue to use them daily for months to come. It is however possible that those of you with smaller hat sizes might find them a bit loose fitting.

What does it take to make an exceptional pair of headphones? Exceptional sound? Exceptional fit? An exceptional price?

I'm not really a fan of the material they use on the cups. That's my only negative. The next pair I get I'll be making sure they're super comfortable.

Yup, it's purple, and beige. It also has wings! Well those are for comfort; and homie, they are comfortable. When I received the Audio Technica AD700's, I chuckled a bit when I plugged it into my receiver for a movies/games test. I was thinking..

lets see where to begin. certainly the most comfortable pair of headsets i have ever had. however that comes at a cost, as mentioned in cons it leaks sound. not just on the higher volumes either, if you can hear the sound, the people next to you can hear it also.
