The Asus ZenFone 6 is certainly intriguing, thanks to its revolving camera module and impressively large battery, but there's stiff competition out there that might undercut the otherwise promising value for money on offer here. If you like the makeup of the ZenFone 6 specifically, there isn't much else that compares, however, it doesn't really excel in any one area.

The ZenFone 6 is a phenomenal smartphone, offering an innovative Flip Camera system that not only provides high-end front- and rear-facing cameras, but allows for a full-screen display free of hole-punch cameras or notches. Combine that with high-end internals and all-day battery life, and you've got a great, all-round smartphone.

Asus’ latest could easily have been another run-of-the-mill Samsung/iPhone impersonator, so it's refreshing and, dare we say it, quite exciting to see something a little different. Sure, the flippable camera is a fun quirk, but it could be genuinely game-changing for front-facing video recording and shooting at otherwise hard-to-reach angles. We just hope the motor system is as robust as Asus assures us it is. Throw in that heavyweight Snapdragon 855 and 5000mAh battery combo, and you've got a flagship to be reckoned with.
