Asus' latest gaming monitor looks like Guy Fieri designed it The ultra-wide curved monitor rocks an angular design with orange accents.

Just the right amount of curve

In the store I wasn't fully sold on a curved monitor, but I went with it against my mental protests. It didn't take long to get used to the curve. I'm now at the point where straight monitors look odd. I mostly use it for development (tons of room!), but gaming also looks great.

I had a 144hz 1440p non g-sync monitor and upgraded to this. Going from that to 100hz g-sync, you don't notice the difference that much and the size and quality make up for the drop in fps so much. You loose 44 fps but your gpu then puts that lost use of power into running almost 4k at 100hz.

Good product. Terrible customer servise. Never again.

Sucker lasted for a year then got dead pixels and lines going down the middle. Called customer service and setup an RMA. Sent the monitor in for repair then got it back a couple of weeks later with an email that nothing could be done and that the monitor was damaged and not covered by warranty.

Ultrawide are not for me

Here is a quick review after my initial test : Pros : - color rendering looked good (it's my first IPS panel) - backlight bleeding was very minor - gaming was immersive but GTX 1060 6GB could only deliver 60fps (compared to 90fps on 27inch 1440p) - the OSD (monitor menus) are the easiest I've used,...

Broke after 3 months of light use

Developed vertical lines in the monitor and a flicker. Confirmed over two different source PCs and interfaces - HDMI and displayport. No advanced replacement available via Asus. No reimbursement for the packaging required to return it. You are not allowed to use the original packaging either.

Epic, game changer for games!

Love this, it was a massive outlay but I have no regrets, I was between this and 4k, read lots of reviews and went for this in the end, so glad I did.

Good monitor, poor panel

It seems to be a bit of a lottery as to how much light bleed your panel has. Mine was unacceptable to me and Asus confirmed (via a picture) that it was faulty. It was returned and refunded without too much fuss, but I didn't reorder, as I didn't want to risk the same thing happening again.
