A few years ago, the PC monitor was the least concern for anyone building their own custom PC – just slap on a 1080p display and you were good to go. But with the advancement of 4K displays, higher refresh rates, and more gaming features, PC monitors have become the center of the attention.

+ Sophisticated and sleek design; + Incredible image quality right out of the box; + OSD navigation is wonderful; + 100Hz + G-sync is a religious experience

- Expensive as hell; - Crappy speakers; - Only one HDMI port

Asus ROG Swift PG348Q 34″ 3440×1440 IPS G-Sync Curved 100Hz Review

Kitguru Says: IPS? Check. Ultra-wide display? Check. G-Sync up to 100Hz? Check! All the ingredients are here for a great ultra-wide 21:9 gaming display. The Asus ROG Swift PG348Q is a stunning panel, but it is a pricey prospect.

Very funky; futuristic design and appearance; 100 Hz operation; with G-Sync support; Great picture quality

Menu system could be more complete; Expensive

ASUS waited quite some time to bring a 34" display to fruition. If that was due to some kind of initial issue, that's not shown as the ASUS ROG PG348Q passes with flying colors. This starts with the design which can no doubt be described as playful.

Chic look; good workmanship; Good OSD with numerous gaming features; High-contrast; good image quality; Uniform illumination; bright; Good color representation; Highly responsive; 100 Hz operation with G-Sync

Expensive; Slight backlight bleeding

ASUS PG348Q 34" ROG Swift Monitor Review

We regularly tell you that you should spend more on your display than you do. So often it's the element of a system that people choose to cut corners on. Why bother having a pair of high-end GPUs in your system if you're outputting the picture to a £100 1080P monitor from a brand you've never heard...

UPDATED REVIEW: 2/11/16 I received my new ROG Swift on 1/29/16. The return and refund from BuyVPC was fast and easy, and in fact I purchased the replacement from them as well. This time everything worked as it should, no dead or stuck pixels, this monitor is amazing!

Asus' latest gaming monitor looks like Guy Fieri designed it

The ultra-wide curved monitor rocks an angular design with orange accents.
