Apple Watch Series 7 (45MM, Midnight) - Excellent review
The Apple Watch Series 7 is an excellent smartwatch. It’s not the massive upgrade some were hoping for — but it doesn’t necessarily need to be. The larger display is nice, and I appreciate the efforts Apple is making to improve on charging.
Apple Watch Series 7 (Review Apple Watch Series 7)
A bigger screen makes the best smartwatch even better- Larger display than previous models, Faster charging, Improved durability, New watch colors and faces
- No major feature updates from last generation, One-day battery life remains the same
Apple Watch Series 7 (45MM, Midnight) - Excellent review
Nobody can deny that the Apple Watch won the smartwatch wars, and the latest Apple Watch Series 7 only extends that lead. A collection of endearing enhancements rather than the all-out reinvention that some expected, 2021’s version blends a bigger display with the improvements of watchOS 8 , for a...- Bigger display, Faster charging, On-screen keyboard massively improves text-entry, Improved fitness tracking
- Still just 1 day of battery life, Dedicated fitness wearables offer more tracking features
Apple Watch Series 7 (45MM, Midnight) - Excellent review
If you have a Series 6 then you basically already have a Series 7. So if you have an Apple Watch older than a Series 6, and you haven’t been compelled yet to switch, you’ll do just as well to continue waiting.- Faster charging, finally, While largely imperceptible in most conditions, more screen and less bezels are always good, Still the best smartwatch experience by a longshot, QWERTY keyboard text input beats all other modes, New colors! This includes a lighter (better) blue, Supposedly stronger screen
- Same one-day battery life, Fitness and health data are too broad and decontextualized to inspire much engagement, It’s essentially a Series 6, The Series 7’s QWERTY keyboard exclusivity is totally unnecessary
Apple Watch Series 7 (45MM, Midnight) - Excellent review
Fast charging as the star feature. The Apple Watch 7 is mainly distinguished by a larger display without much of an increase in the watch size. The Californians have also equipped it with a fast charge function, but this is as far as the improvements for the newest Apple smartwatch go.- bright LTPO OLED, large amount of available apps, extensive heath features, accurate sensors, fast charging
- not many improvements compared to the predecessor, fairly short battery life
Apple Watch Series 7 (45MM, Midnight) - Excellent review
There wasn’t a lot wrong with last year’s Series 6 , so a bigger, better screen and faster charging add to an already winning experience. It is still expensive, even if it is £10 cheaper than last year, and the lack of third-party watch faces means you’re stuck using only those that are built in.- Pros: excellent haptic vibrations, larger and better always-on screen, ECG, top health tracking, great activity tracking, 50m water resistance, solid battery, long software support, recycled aluminium.
- Cons: expensive, only works with an iPhone, sleep tracking still not great, blood oxygen data not that useful, no third-party watch faces, not a giant upgrade.
Apple Watch Series 7 GPS, 45mm (PRODUCT)RED Aluminium Case with (PRODUCT)RED Sport Band - Regular MKN93X/A review
This new iterative smartwatch focuses on biking, and the battery life still stinks.- Bigger, beautiful display. New QWERTY keyboard to ditch texting on your phone. Faster charging. Updated algorithms, especially for biking. The usual full suite of health features. Seamless incorporation with Apple software and hardware.
- Battery still barely lasts a full day. Not enough newness to convince me to upgrade.
Apple Watch Series 7 (45MM, Midnight) - Excellent review
This is a Series 6 with a slightly larger display. That makes it better, technically, but it’s a disappointingly small improvement that has us thinking Apple should have skipped a year.- Bigger display with thinner bezels, Faster charging
- Barely an upgrade from Series 6, Colors are arguably worse
Apple Watch Series 7 review: Small updates, big impact
The Apple Watch Series 7 is not a major update and yet it has improved significantly in certain aspects compared to the Apple Watch Series 6. Is the new Apple smartwatch worth buying? You can read all about it in our NextPit review.- Bigger, brighter screen, Charges up to 33% faster compared to the Series 6, IP6X certified: Waterproof and dust protection now included
- Nothing new, but: Apple Watch only works with an iPhone
Apple Watch Series 7 GPS, 45mm (PRODUCT)RED Aluminium Case with (PRODUCT)RED Sport Band - Regular MKN93X/A review
Despite appearances this is a pretty big leap for Apple Watch, and the new display is killer.- Awesome larger display, Faster charging, All-day battery life, Always-on now brighter
- No new health features, Limited upgrade over Series 6
