This is the best computer I have ever had. Before this I was using a MacBook Pro with an I7, it weighed much more, and I realized all I need is the MacBook 12", and the M3 processer is very fast and efficient for my needs. It is great for travel, which I do often.

Ultra Lightweight, Slim, and does everyday tasks well

It does everything I need it to do in a compact and lightweight package. I am a light task user - browser, netflix, music, chat apps, etc.

Ultra Lightweight - this is the lightest ultra i've owned and it is very easy to carry around

- 1 USB-C port - two USB ports would be better if they could keep the compact size and excellent battery life; however I guess one port is acceptable. I've only needed to use the USB port for data once in the last month

My new girlie MacBook is great

A great lightweight laptop. Even as a iPhone user I found some of the setup and options a bit frustrating and the noise when you do something wrong is very annoying! I'll definitely be buying a mouse to go with it but overall it does everything you'd need especially when you buy the ms office with...

More competent that you'd expect

Although this looks like a low performance processor compared to a Pro, I run professional development software on it and it's actually very very good. Under the right circumstances it will compete against a 2.5 i7 Pro on some tasks. It's not a toy, it is very light, compact and capable laptop.

Great on the go laptop!

I bought my MacBook nearly a month ago, online from Harvey Norman. It is exactly what I wanted and the online shopping experience was brilliant for such an expensive item!

Apple MacBook (2017) review

This isn’t a perfect notebook, then, nor probably even a perfect MacBook. But this laptop is nonetheless ridiculously lovely to use. Yes, I’d like a webcam beyond 480p, and for the keyboard to be a bit quieter, but the unit feels solid, the screen is great, and the battery lasts for ages. Last year, Stuff suggested perhaps trawling for refurbs, but that advice no longer holds up, given the improvements Apple’s made to performance and usability. The real question is whether you should instead plump for a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. The latter has crossover with the MacBook, in terms of pricing, and for not too much additional outlay, you get more power and ports, but also more heft. It’s a better bet if you need the extra clout and connectivity. The MacBook Air’s time is over, though. It looked the business when Steve Jobs pulled one out of an envelope in 2008, but is surely now only hanging around to have Mac laptops start at under a grand. Unless you really can’t stretch to the MacBook’s price tag, it’s time to consign the MacBook Air to history.

Really solid build quality; New keyboard switches feel great; The screen’s lovely for general use; Decent battery life;

FaceTime camera is 480p; Keyboard is REALLY LOUD; Would be nice if it was 200 quid cheaper; USB-C rather than Thunderbolt 3;

Amazing!

Love the price that I got from B&H on this MacBook. Its pretty fast for everyday tasks and is extremely thin. I love the fan-less design (it does get occasionally hot during demanding tasks). I also love the new keyboard on the 2017 model (its much moreclicky than previous versions).
