Cons:
- Some ultraportable Windows laptops outpace it, Battery life falls off a little versus 2024 model, Display tech remains solid, but is starting to appear dated alongside OLED

The Apple MacBook Air 13 M4 is excellent for school use. It's a very compact laptop with an exceptionally sturdy build, and its battery lasts easily through a typical day of light use.

Cons:
- Display still limited to 60Hz., Limited port selection.

This lightweight machine comes equipped with a bit more power and some necessary improvements, all for a more affordable price.
Pros:
- Great performance. Bright display. Updated webcam. Long battery life. Double the base memory. Lightweight. Supports two external displays (with the MacBook lid open). New Sky Blue color option. Support for Apple Intelligence. More affordable.
Cons:
- Lacks ports. No nano-texture option. Wish there were more fun color options. Experienced some slight overheating.

MacBook Air with M4: Is It Worth Buying?
Apple sent us the new MacBook Air 13" powered by the M4 silicon in Sky Blue and I sat down to review it over the weekend! Despite a faster processor, more capable webcam, and additional storage options, the basic configuration of the new model has become cheaper.
Pros:
- Top performance despite a price reduction, High-quality workmanship, Webcam now comes with Centre Stage, Supports two 6K displays + own display
Cons:
- 60 Hz panel with 500 nits brightness is slowly becoming obsolete, No option for nanotextured glass, Hardly repairable, not "upgradable", 30/35 W charging adapter is too slow
