It does what it says and compliments my iMac perfectly. Usual high Apple quality, just a bit expensive for what it is! (Though much cheaper at JL!!) My only quibble is the length of the inbuilt cable, it's quite short. There's no ability to change the cable so when it breaks, that's it.

High quality item from Apple. silent smooth operation. Top class packaging and quick service. The complete apple Mac package. Computer, disc drive, keyboard with trackpad and mouse. Look and work superb.

It's really simple. Open box, follow instructions for connection. Insert disc. Use as disc drive. If none of this works, you probably should stick to calculators.

Unpacked it this afternoon and plugged it in to a USB on my iMac and it didn't recognise the Superdrive at all. Nor would it accept a CD or DVD. After spending ages on the phone with a Very Advisor and then an Apple Advisor, I am returning it forthwith and receiving a refund. Not impressed!
