I used my super drive with protools 11- it was seemless to set up and get started. Truly plug and play. Its nice that My mac book is much slimmer with the drive detatched.

It's really simple. Open box, follow instructions for connection. Insert disc. Use as disc drive. If none of this works, you probably should stick to calculators.

Solid built, sleek and compact. Fast. Highly recommend as an add on to a purchase of an iMac if your still one of those, like me, that likes to burn a cd with your music or make a dvd presentation. Not that expensive.
