Luckily Walmart accepted my return of what I consider to be a broken monitor (dead pixel in the center of the screen), but when I originally called Acer for help their way of handling the situation was unacceptable.

This was a replacement for a 2011 era Samsung 1080p monitor that had broken. This was the cheapest replacement I could find. Even compared to the Samsung's TN panel, the colors are washed out and the viewing angles are VERY poor.
I think For a 21.5 is a great size it really dependence on how far you sit away from it but were my set was it was great. It has great colors fast response time. And the price to preforms is good. i would recommend this for other people and i love this monitor
As mentioned in the pros and con, it is a very good monitor for it's relatively low price, and my only concern is that even after fiddling with the settings, the whites still look a little washed out
great overall monitor for the price; no problems so far
it could stand to have a wider range of colors
The significant overscan, (which admittedly *could* be my computer, but since I have no overscan on 5 other monitors I've connected it to, I'm likely to lay the blame on the monitor), really isn't a problem compared to the nearly complete lack of contrast in the monitor.
My wife needs multiple monitors for her business. We tried several brands including Asus and found the Acer to have the best colours, contrast and build quality. We sent the others back but kept these monitors. Good quality at a great price. Highly Recommended.
If you need a large IPS monitor, then you should definitely look elsewhere at some of the 24-inch or even 29-inch models out there. But, if something smaller will work for you, then give this model a good look as it's one of the best options out there.
only thing that bummed me out was the qty limit. I've purchased over 12 of these monitors over the last year for staff and now I could only purchase two at a time plus the shipping fee. head over to their competitor with a prime membership and order up to 4 at a time no shipping fee.
resolution is there
-at the time of purchase there was a qty limit (found on another site with prime for the same price!
I did not notice that this did not have an audio port. If you want sound , you can use an external speaker plug into the mini plug on your computer. The monitor otherwise is easy to setup and great for displaying pc games.
I bought this as the reviews were good and under product features it said "built in speakers" which was vital for us, how ever there are in fact no speakers so it was returned
