Acer Iconia A100

Steve Jobs doesn't like 7-inch tablets. Hardly surprising, given that Apple only has one tablet, and it's not 7-inches. But Pocket-lint likes all tablets, especially ones that give the people what they want: choice. The Iconia A100 is Acer's most recent entry into the Honeycomb tablet market.
Pros:
  • Sturdy
  • runs Honeycomb
Cons:
  • Not all that cheap
  • odd screen
  • DLNA not good at all

The overall user experience remains the same while using Honeycomb as any other dual-core 1GHz tablet, that is to say that it's fairly quick. However, don't expect smooth transitions and snappy playback like iPad 2.

Acer Iconia Tab A100 review

Acer's Iconia Tab A100 has some great redeeming features in its dinky compact chassis. That said, even the cheaper price isn't enough of an added impetus to go out and buy it.
Pros:
  • Compact build
  • Affordable price
  • Dual-core CPU
Cons:
  • Battery life
  • Storage
  • Finger prints

Does the job a little better than a smart phone.

Not really sure, always have it plugged in. eh gets tossed back and forth, literally. The Acer A100 Iconia tablet is a fair deal at around $120 new. It's no iPad, however it gets the job done. There are many pros and cons to consider when buying a tablet.

Acer Iconia A100 review: An uninspiring 7in Honeycomb tablet

Apple has adopted a one-size fits all approach with its iPad 2 , but there seems to be a demand for smaller, compact tablets. Acer has responded with the Iconia A100, a smaller and lighter version its 10.1in Iconia A500 Android tablet .
Pros:
  • Reasonably good performance
  • HDMI-out port
  • Charges quickly
Cons:
  • Truly abysmal battery life
  • Poor quality display
  • Thick and heavy considering its size

I have enjoyed the A100 tablet and the OS is up gradable to Ice Cream Sandwich OS. However I have had to send in this tablet twice for repair. IF you have it repair within a year you're ok. After a year, you can send it in then they will contact you about the repair costs.

Acer Iconia

Tweet Acer recently released a fairly unique new product onto the market, the dual-screen Acer Iconia, what they call, "the world's most advanced touchbook." While it remains to be seen if the term will stick, a ‘touchbook'  is basically a melding between a notebook and a tablet.
Pros:
  • Beautiful and easy to use interface
  • great extra applications
Cons:
  • Some features take a while to load
  • keyboard takes getting used to
