I open the box this was contained in, plugged it into my motherboard sata, and plugged in the power cable from the psu. When I power on my motherboard, I can hear the drive quietly rev up, then after a couple of seconds, it starts clicking every 1/2 second, and doesnt stop.

1TB of space is still enough for the average user, and these solid well performing drives work. Work, that's all it needs to do. Happy, bought heaps of these for builds, never an issue.

As always Western Digital hard drives do not disappoint, the quality is always top notch and with the Acronis copy software it makes it a simple processes to move your entire system to the new drive.

Purchased to redeem my old XBOX using an ATA-SATA adapter. Worked perfectly for the purpose so can not give anything other than 10/10. (All disks are incompatible with the old XBOX because they do not support either locking or xfat)

This HD works exactly how it should and for its price you cant really beat it! only thing id say is to prepare yourself for when SSD start becoming more affordable and popular (they are already really popular).
