Western Digital – where have you been dude??? (I am running out of opening lines here). WD Scorpio Blue 1TB 2.5″ WD10JPVT – a 2.5″ form factor with a 9.5mm thickness Scorpio Blue drive. They sent a drive for evaluation and this looks to be interesting.

We all know that Western Digital these days are more reliable than Seagate, I've read that this drive is noisy which isn't true, it makes less of that crackling noise than any others unless pushed to its extreme and even then with my side case off its far less noisy than my Barracuda. If you are looking for a new HDD don't look any further than Western Digital.
