The hard drive works great, the only problem I have is it works a little bit slower than I had hoped. It copied files at about 50 mb/s. So while slower than expected, it wasn't actually slow or anything.

O.K. The triple shock protection is superb, The finish and quality are exemplary, and it is largely the reason that I convinced myself that I did not actually need a more expensive sdd, as I doubt there is one out there that matches this build quality... Small physically and looks and feels sexy...

I bought this to backup my photos and videos when I travel. The ruggedness is just what I needed and the large 500gb drive even lets me bring copies of my other photos and videos with me on my trips so I can compare/reminisce while traveling!

For my use, I should be able to store 3 years or more of my files.

Product well built, easy to use and fast. I have two of them one for home use and the other that travels with me for my work laptop back up. The work one takes alot of abuse and has never failed me.

Most external hard drives suffer from two main problems, especially when they are used for backing up important files.
