I was hoping for a bit more character development to be honest. It's not a Skyrim type of game. Not bad, but not deep enough.

I first noticed this game while it was a PC exclusive. The graphics and art direction looked incredible, the story seemed in depth and compelling, and the focus and intracacies of its RPG elements were very interesting. At the time I was severely disappointed to see that it was PC only.

Combat a little tricky; need to pay close attention to the story

This game had a lot of hype as being better then the bioware games such as Dragon Age and Mass Effect. After the disappointment of Dragon Age 2 I thought I would give it ago. It might be better than Dragon Age 2, however it is not in the same league as Dragon Age Origins or Baldurs Gate.

Previews of The Witcher 2 hinted at an experience akin to what would happen if Sephiroth had featured in Game of Thrones; fortunately actual game is angst-free, interesting, pretty, and quite possibly what EAa€?s Dragon Age 2 should have been.

I have never played this game. Just writing the review because I couldn't comment. NEEDS TO BE ON PS3! You would have a customer in shiss27 for sure.

There is often talk about how video games need to mature, and there is some truth to that, especially in RPGs. Very often games come down to saving the world from an ancient evil or challenging the leader of an evil empire. Characters are often shallow, with little motivation for what they do.

For a game centered on the actions of a mutant outcast, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a remarkably normal experience that fits right in between Assassin's Creed and Kingdoms of Amalur .

Visually it is just a stunning game, while no where near as crisp and clean as the PC version, almost the whole game looks great, faces are quite expressive and do a good job conveying the emotions of the moment.

huge fan of the series remember playing this a few years back before the witcher 3 and I enjoyed it very much :) also like to add the witcher series is one of my favourite series of games hope they make more :) not as long as the witcher 3 but still enjoyable with a solid story and plenty of quests...
