The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Review

NARRATIVE The Witcher wowed gamers with its groundbreaking delayed consequence system, back in 2007. Few games since, especially Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas have successfully built upon it, but The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings takes the idea of the dynamic narrative to completely uncharted...

Simply amazing, and story driven

One of the greatest games of all time i finished the first one and it's enhanced edition on my Pc along with the Witcher 2:assassins of kings for the pc and i know it will be great on the Xbox360.I just hope they don't edit the certain scenes out on this version. It's for a mature audience.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

At a glance, Geralt doesn't look like much of an action-RPG hero. With his white mane, leather pants, and grizzled scowl, you could mistake Witcher 2 's main character for an aging renaissance-faire enthusiast.

+ Complicated but engaging tale shaped by your choices, + Fun combat with intuitive controls; lots of customization options; challenging foes

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was an obvious choice for last year's best role-playing game - exciting and captivating story, a rich universe maybe stuck in fantasy's standard tropes but still managing to be atypical. Strong script, solid combat, dazzling visuals and a wealth of content.

Witcher 2 Xbox 360 review: Darker than Skyrim, sexier than Mass Effect - better than both?

Gritty, sexy, vicious, sumptuous bastard of a role-player that in-between Mass Effect and The Elder Scrolls heralds an exciting third pathway for the genre

Geralt and pals are an earthy joy; Beefy combat with goresome finishers; Some great virtual shagging

Checkpoints are a bit fiddly; with long-ish load times; Ending's been padded out; but it's still abrupt

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

I recently heaped praise upon Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning for the accessible and unintrusive player experience it offers. I am about to heap an equal amount of praise upon The Witcher 2 that may seem at odds with my love of how Reckoning was presented.

Review: The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings: Enhanced Edition (X360)

The Witcher 2 has finally arrived on the Xbox 360, meaning that now console gamers can experience the epic RPG that released last year for the PC. For the first time, Xbox 360 owners can walk the lands as Geralt of Rivia. Has the wait for the popular franchise been worth it? Find out in this review.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

One of the most praised PC RPGs of 2011 finally makes its way to the Xbox 360. We've praised Witcher 2 on PC for its truly mature world...

Diverse; mature; and immersive world; Playing through multiple times; The newly added tutorial and bonus content

The slow burn of combat while you find your bearings; It's not as pretty as its PC counterpart; One less excuse to buy a gaming PC
