When CD Projekt announced that they'd be porting their epic RPG The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings to Xbox 360, no one really seemed to understand why. Porting a sequel without the original game seemed weird, and were console gamers really even into the depth of a PC action-RPG?

Visually it is just a stunning game, while no where near as crisp and clean as the PC version, almost the whole game looks great, faces are quite expressive and do a good job conveying the emotions of the moment.

Previews of The Witcher 2 hinted at an experience akin to what would happen if Sephiroth had featured in Game of Thrones; fortunately actual game is angst-free, interesting, pretty, and quite possibly what EAa€?s Dragon Age 2 should have been.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will take gamers on a murky, blood-riddled journey of political intrigue, rich character plot, and sensual endeavours; this only scratches the surface.

Great game! The Witcher series is amazing. It's so immersive and there are so many different ways to battle. It is an awesome RPG that will be a definite time sink.

The witcher 2 does what most rpgs this generation dont and thats making it hard, customizable, and packing a great story. In he witcher 2 evry choice you make completely affects the story, allies, enemies, and even how half the game turns out.

One of the best games of the year. Play it on PC if you can, but if you don't have a rig capable of playing it, you can't go wrong with the 360 version.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was an obvious choice for last year's best role-playing game - exciting and captivating story, a rich universe maybe stuck in fantasy's standard tropes but still managing to be atypical. Strong script, solid combat, dazzling visuals and a wealth of content.

It is a stunning game, you'll be hard pressed to find any issues with it whatsoever. Even if you've never heard of Geralt, CDProjekt Red have created the game in such a way that you'll feel like you're not playing a sequel but the original.
