I haven't stopped believing in Kinect's concerted gaming potential. A game like Flower , not "casual" or "hardcore" by any stretch, but captivating, clever, and moving, has the listless corners that would fit right into Kinect's approximation controls.

In the past, playing Steel Battalion required using a 40-button controller that was almost a metre wide, weighed as much as a four-month-old baby, and made anyone using it look like a dork.

Game seemed promising, but Kinect controls are clumsy at best. Need more distinction between movements.

I got this game and It made me think why i purchased Xbox?? It made me crazy and there's no fun nothing you or anyone would like about it!! Better don't play this stupid game.. Made me crazy with kinect !! Made me stand up , moving my hands here and there.!! It is just stupid!!

In writing this review, I feel compelled to wag my finger at a responsible party, but I can't decide who is most deserving of my ire-of my utter hatred. Is it Capcom for promising and delivering this...game? Is it From Software for agreeing to develop and slap their name on it?

Poor: Something went wrong somewhere along the line. The original idea might have promise, but in practice the game has failed. Threatens to be interesting sometimes, but rarely.

For those of us old enough to remember the first "next gen" console called the original Xbox, the name "Steel Battalion" is the stuff of lore. Nowadays you'll see Street Fighter games release on occasion with special peripheral controllers, or you'll see interesting props that extend the gameplay...

In one of my latest columns, I wrote about how frustrated I have been with the Kinect lately on my 360. At first I enjoyed having that sensor mounted onto my wall, and using it to control my Xbox 360 with just my voice.
