Many people complained about how the KINECT sucks but this game is overall the best KINECT game ever. Before you get on your car and go, first try the demo if you have a KINECT. If you like it, Go for it, buy it! If you don't your KINECT may need calibrations or its just your opinion.

The game suffers from very long intervals between start up and play also between each level,I also found it difficult at times because of the darkness of several scenes otherwise it's a good game and in my opinion would be a great game except for the problems I pointed out.

Unique; nothing else like it; very innovative

It has it's flaws but in the end, I enjoyed the game a lot. The game length isn't that long but you can replay missions after you beat it and change the fate for platoon members who may have died on your first play through on certain missions.

Only mech game I've played that really makes you feel like you are inside a mech or in this case, "Vertical Tank"; This is thanks to the whole Kinect features which you use when you are inside the VT.

Placement of some the interactive points with the VT are too close together; I found myself pressing the wrong button like switching on the lights when I wanted to pull the vent chain.

If you have fond memories of steering mechs with a 40-button controller in Steel Battalion (original Xbox) almost a decade ago, you may have thought that substituting that monstrous plastic-metal contraption with a Kinect would lead to a gentler, more casual take on the franchise.

I can still remember the first time I saw the ridiculous controller (and I use that term loosely) that came with the first game way back in 2002. I was intrimidated by the sheer size and complexity of it, to say the least.

Not really what my son expected, tried to play it, it was difficult to figure out. Didn't know what you were to do in the game.

The issue isn't that Steel Battalion is a poor game. It's that it could be a great game, but there are too many incremental issues that hinder it.
